Karolina Pod Gwiazdami
I treat astrology as a language of symbols that helps us understand ourselves — never as a prediction of the future.
Who I am
I write under the pen name Karolina Pod Gwiazdami. I work with psychological astrology, symbolism, archetypes and the quiet observation of the night sky. I was born on 16 October 1982, and for many years I have explored the links between psychology, astrology, mythology and human nature.
My approach rests neither on predicting the future nor on sensational prophecy. I treat astrology as a language of symbols — one that helps me, and may help you too, understand emotions, relationships and life cycles more clearly.
My approach and influences
I draw particular inspiration from the work of Carl Gustav Jung — the idea of archetypes, of synchronicity, and of the collective unconscious. It is from this vantage point that I read the symbols of the sky: as images that say something about a person's inner life.
Within astrology itself I value the classical sources: the writings of Claudius Ptolemy, the Hermetic tradition attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, and the Neoplatonic philosophy of Plotinus. I try to join this older knowledge with a contemporary, psychological understanding of the human being.
What I write about
I write about psychological astrology and Jungian archetypes, about the symbolism of the planets and the zodiac signs, about life cycles and human relationships. I return, too, to inner growth, the history of astrology, Hermetic philosophy, mythology, and the observation of the night sky.
I do not present astrology as an exact science, and I make no promises about the future. For me it is a tool for reflection and self-knowledge — a way to see one's own life from a wider perspective.
How I write
I try to write calmly, reflectively and with care, lightly poetic and free of sensation. I avoid dogmatism and aggressive persuasion; I do not tell anyone what to do — rather, I encourage people to observe their own lives, emotions and experiences for themselves.
I write with intellectual humility. I do not claim to hold every answer — I would rather share observations, knowledge and questions that help us see more.
Away from the noise
I am not an influencer and I do not chase popularity on social media. I prefer calm, considered forms: articles, essays, notes and reflections. I value depth over reach, and the quality of a conversation over the number of followers.
Beyond astrology, my passions are stargazing through a telescope, amateur astronomy, cats, the natural world, and a life lived close to water. I am most at home away from the noise and overload of the modern internet — where there is silence, stars, and room to think.
Contact
By nature I avoid the noise and rarely seek contact — you will find most of me here, on the blog, in what I write. If you truly must reach me, you can; I only ask that you forgive me for not answering every message.
Assemble my address yourself: the word thetale (lowercase, joined), then the result of 8000 − 6000 in digits, then the at-sign, then gmail.com.
