I have started this blog in search of my place on Earth — and, as is my way, a little under the sky as well.
Hello. I have started this blog in search of my place on Earth — and, as is my way, a little under the sky as well. For years I have looked at the stars: sometimes through a telescope, sometimes through that old language of symbols we call astrology. This is the place where I want to bring those two ways of looking together.
I am not a fortune-teller, and I do not believe the stars tell us what will happen. What I do believe is that symbols — planets, signs, the phases of the Moon — can help us name what is already within us: our emotions, our tensions, the cycles we move through. For me astrology is a mirror far more than an oracle.
Why this blog
I want to write here calmly and without sensation. About what Carl Gustav Jung said of astrology. About the archetypes that return in our myths and our dreams. About what can be seen in the night sky right now, and why it is sometimes worth simply stepping outside and looking up.
I will come back here irregularly — when I have something I truly want to say, not because the calendar demands it. If you are reading these words: I am glad you are here. Make yourself comfortable, brew some tea, and stay a moment longer.
